Yangda Restaurant

The service is great. I wish the food was good as the owner but unfortunately not. I must say it’s the worst Chinese restaurant I visited in years. Soup that has taste like boiled water and chicken with red chili sauce that… I don’t want to continue… just look at the picture.

Good food. Really bad service. The waiters are tired of living. Last time we left the place because they were so unfriendly.

I typically don't write reviews at all. But it was such a Horrible experience that i have to share it. This is my 3rd time here and previous times the experience has been much better. This time when I came with my son and wife. The waiter with a dark blue shirt and blue Jean was disgusted by the fact that we asked for plain noodles for my 3 year old son. And then he brought fried noodle and tried to pass it as plain noodles saying no sauce there. And he already mentioned that it was 3 euros and since he got the order wrong we returned it. After this all the orders he pretty much he threw it on the table and left. Literally the white rice bowl was thrown on the table with a noise. I will never return here again and if you have a kid I definitely don't recommend this restaurant. For the management, better train your waiters if you want your business to stay alive in such an international city as Karlsruhe.

I felt that the restaurant waiters treated Chinese and white people differently, and as a Chinese, I felt very sad.

We have gone this place for a friday summer night, food was nice but we could not understand why the waiter was so rude to us. We ordered 2-3 dishes with drinks etc, but he acted from the first minute to the last very bad. Maybe he wantewd us to order more? Our kid accidentially dropped the spoon to the floor, we asked for a newer one, annoyed... We asked about a food very annoyed... We wanted to pay, ok if we are not going to pay cash he would be more annoyed even so that we have payed cash and run away from the place. Food is very nice but I do not know if it is worthed to have that stress from that waiter, maybe he is the owner I do not know. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I always went there because it tastes authentic but today the owner complained many times straight to our faces that we did not order much food then blaming us for not finishing the food (if we were that much hungry we would have ordered much). So we told him we would take the left food away then he became more annoyed, so we had to leave those even though we wanted to take away. He became more grumpy for the fact we are paying by EC card not cash and even after tipping he was still showing how unhappy he is to us, complaining straight to us. I knew I shouldn't expect customer service in Germany but I don't necessarily have to get complained from the owner of the restaurant when I was still his customer.

Used to be my place to go to for dinner with friends, but ever since they re-opened after lockdown, the quality of the food as well as the service went downhill. Ordered sweet and sour fish and pork belly with soy sauce; the former was mushy, overcooked and tasted like vinegar while the latter was salty and cold. Used to have much higher expectations from them, but now I am not a regular anymore. I would recommend to go to Yang Da at Herrenstraße. Yes, same franchise, but the service and food between the places is like night and day

they give now small amount of rice unlike before. we're 4, 2 adults 2children . we bought 3 menus and side dich spring rolls and drinks . because other kid had already ate, and they gave 1bowl of rice not even full for 3 menus of food? im asian i love to eat rice . then when we ask for more we need to pay for it. before i love this place i recommend my colleague but not anymore sorry.

The staff was very ignorant and the food was tasteless full of garlic.

the taste has changed, not so good as before anymore. Probably my last visit to this restaurant.
