My daughter just returned from the autumn camp in Haltern am See. She is super happy and enjoyed the camp so much that she wants to go again! She loved everything there, especially all the counselors and activities, and she also made some wonderful new friends. The camp gives children not only a fun experience but also boosts their English confidence—without any pressure, unlike a typical school class. This is exactly what we wanted, and it was fully achieved. We’ll be booking the next camp soon./ BN15394

I sent my son for the Camps for Friends in Stuttgart for the Autumn holidays. It was really well planned, and the Youth Sports School, where it was held, had many amenities. The Camps for Friends team was very friendly and spoke only in English with the kids. My son enjoyed it very much and we will definitely recommend this camp to other parents who want their kids to experience an English camp.

My son loved it this year, the camp was full and many mixed age groups. This was his second year in the same camp. It's well organised, the location is great and the youth hostel is super clean. As the kids are organised by age and not ability, he did find the classes too easy. He's 10, 11 in December with bilingual parents and has grown up speaking English and German. A lot of fun had and the camp people were all great. I'll be booking again next year and maybe we'll try a different area! I can only recommend camp for friends!

Working as a counsellor at Camps for Friends has been an incredibly rewarding and eye-opening experience. I’ve had the pleasure of teaching at the Munich City Camp, and from day one, it has been clear that this isn’t just any camp — it’s a place where learning and fun truly come together. The camp location, Sportschule Oberhaching, has been ideal: spacious, tech-savvy classrooms have made teaching English smooth and interactive, helping to foster real connections with the kids. Beyond the classroom, the facilities have been outstanding — from indoor and outdoor sports fields to a full swimming pool where the kids can splash around, even during the chilly autumn days. As a native English speaker, I’ve found it especially fulfilling to share a part of my culture and language with the students. Watching them grow from shy, hesitant speakers into confident communicators has been incredibly inspiring — a true highlight of the role. This experience has not only helped me grow as an educator and mentor, but has also given me the joy of being part of a supportive, enthusiastic, and international camp team. I’d absolutely recommend Camps for Friends to anyone passionate about working with kids — especially fellow freelance teachers or students looking for meaningful, seasonal work in an energetic and friendly environment.

These have been incredible two weeks working for Camps for Friends. Every single day was a blast! Chiemsee Schloss Stien is gorgeous, and I wouldn't dare to criticize it. The facilities, the nature, and the food are all wonderful. The kids were extremely active and cheerful since they had lots to do. Chiemsee Siegsdorf is a wonderful location, as well. The scenery is amazing there. The campfire by the river was incredible. Moreover, walking around the camp allowed us to enjoy the breathtaking view too. The group of guides I've been working with was freaking amazing! I am thankful for the opportunity to meet such interesting, diverse, and creative people. I have learned so much from each and every one of them! Without a doubt, I've had the best leaders! Josefina, Kieran and Kira are outstanding professionals.Everything was well-organized, and I was able to get assistance whenever I needed it. I appreciate their flexibility, help and support.

In my experience, Camps for Friends is the first company that genuinely cares about its staff as much as it does for its clients. I was amazed by the corporate representatives' warmth and care. Climbing, archery, quizzes, and movie nights are just a few of the activities on the camp program for kids. The accommodations and food at the camp in Haltern am See were excellent. I'm thrilled to be a part of this team!

It has been a fantastic experience in a great camp with extraordinary nice people. Gunther, Sonja, Marc and Dunia are great hosts, generated an outstanding lovely atmosphere and taught us a lot!

Camps for friends is an amazing company for kids who want to improve their English and social skills and make some friends along the journey. The camps are super organized and oriented not only on learning English but also on having fun. I have worked as a guide in camps that took place in Sylt and enjoyed every second of it. Starting with the presence of amazing people, no to mention the beautiful nature around us. The progress kids make just in a week is amazing!! I would recommend to attend these camps to anyone that want to have fun, improve their skills, make some friends, and be around amazing people.
